President Obama’s Immigration Action on Hold

 (May 26, 2015) Texas and 25 other states persuaded a panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals not to suspend a preliminary injunction against the United States that has frozen the President’s November 2014 immigration action. In November 2014, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) directed the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to expand the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.The program would have offered potential pathways for millions of immigrants to legally work in the U.S.  Click here to read more.
